Snow College offers a Welding Technology program of approximately 63 semester hours of instruction, which prepares the student to meet job entry requirements. This program covers all welding processes commonly used in the fabrication, repair, and construction industries. Welding students have three degree options in which to choose: These are Certificate of Completion in Welding Technology, Associate of Applied Science degree in Welding Technology and Associate of Science degree with an emphasis in Welding Technology. Students should work closely with their academic advisor when scheduling classes, transferring, and filling out the necessary matriculation forms. The advisor can be a useful source of information and assistance; however, it is the student's responsibility to seek an advisor's aid and meet the necessary graduation requirements.
